De nombreux acteurs artistiques se sont engagés dans la dénonciation du réchauffement climatique : ils alertent, décrivent, dénoncent, en font le thème de leur œuvre entière… Leur action est louable et saluée par les professionnels de l’art et par le public.

Néanmoins, que faisons-nous dans nos pratiques professionnelles quotidiennes, nous acteurs du monde de l’art, pour inverser la courbe grandissante de notre empreinte écologique ? Témoigner du changement climatique n’est plus suffisant. Il faut nous engager et agir.

Several artists have a strong commitment into climate change denunciation: they alert, they describe, they denounce, sometimes it is the first subject of their work… It is a praiseworthy intention and it is hailed by the art professionals and by the public. 

Nevertheless, what are we doing in our daily practices, as art stakeholders, in order to reduce our ecological footprint? Testifying of climate change is not sufficient enough. We must commit and start our ecological transition.
